$50.00/hr - $62.00/hr

Title: Network Analyst

Duration: 1 year contract with possibility for extensions and conversion

Pay Rate: $50-$62/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Network Analyst & Data Engineer. This remote role requires a blend of networking expertise and data engineering skills to support and enhance our network infrastructure and data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze network performance, resolving issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Configure and manage network protocols, including BGP and other routing protocols.
• Collaborate with network engineers to design and implement network solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for network performance data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Utilize SQL and Python for ETL processes.
• Design data models and databases for network analytics and reporting.
• Create scripts to automate network monitoring and data tasks.
• Develop tools and dashboards for network performance visualization and data insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications in network management or cybersecurity are a plus.
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Experience with network hardware and software.
• Knowledge of network security practices.
• Familiarity with cloud and virtualization technologies.
• Several years of experience in network analysis, design, troubleshooting.
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Relevant certifications like CCNA, Network+ preferred.
