Job summary

The candidate will coordinate outages, participate in weekly change control meetings, document configurations, and interact with clinical staff. Experience with Cisco and Arista switches is preferred, and on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of network experience is required.
• Cisco and/or Arista certifications are desirable.
• Experience with quality cable management is a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LAN/WAN equipment and circuit integrity and performance.
• Analyze and resolve complex network problems for established networks.
• Serve as technical specialist in emergencies; assist in troubleshooting production issues.
• Monitor operations with IDS, firewalls, and VPN devices; document incidents.
• Collaborate on network design, configuration validation, and capacity planning.
• Develop, maintain as-built drawings and inventories; produce training materials.
• Perform project work and assist in capacity planning and performance analyses.
• Document hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals.
