Job summary

Rightfiber, powered by Ritter Communications, is seeking a Network Analyst to join our NOC team in Little Rock. The role focuses on supporting data, voice, and transport networks and adapting to evolving environments with a collaborative, hands-on approach.

As part of the NOC, you will monitor systems, assist with incident resolution, and coordinate with engineering and field teams. This position requires readiness for a 24x7 rotation and a strong foundation in networking tools and protocols.

Qualifications

• 1.5 years of network experience
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols including Ethernet, VLAN, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, and ACL
• Understanding of the OSI layer
• Familiarity with networking tools such as Telnet, SSH, ping, traceroute, Wireshark

Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and storage devices
• Document and report all network incidents and outages per policy
• Provide remote technical support to technicians for data networks and server apps
• Provide escalation support to TAC staff
• Activate voice and data services across copper, fiber and Ethernet platforms
• Coordinate with Engineering, Field Operations, TAC, and end-customers as needed
• Participate in 24x7x365 shift rotation

About the Role

Rightfiber is seeking a Network Analyst to join our Rightfiber team. The Network Analyst is a member of the Rightfiber Network Operations Center (NOC) team responsible for providing overall operational support for the company’s data, voice, and transport network. Success in this role is highly reliant on the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and networks, learn new technologies and processes quickly, and to work both independently and in a team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Monitors network systems including server applications, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, storage devices, and other network equipment;
• Documents and reports all network incidents and outages according to policy;
• Provides remote technical support to technicians for data networks and server applications, IP routing setup and troubleshooting various customer service issues;
• Provides escalation support to Enterprise Technical Assistance Center (TAC) staff;
• Activates voice and data services across copper, fiber and Ethernet platforms;
• Interacts with Engineering, Field Operations, TAC, and on occasion end-customers;
• Participates in a 24x7x365 (3) shift rotation.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of telecommunications products and services;
• 1.5 years of relevant network experience;
• Demonstrated understanding of LAN/WAN protocols and technologies including Ethernet, VLAN, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, and ACL;
• Demonstrated understanding of the OSI layer;
• Knowledge of common networking tools and troubleshooting methodologies including Telnet, SSH, ping, traceroutes, and Wireshark.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field;
• Cisco CCNA, Nokia NRS, CompTIA, or similar certifications.
