This position is responsible for supporting enterprise identity, authentication, security, and endpoint management initiatives across both on-premises and cloud environments. The role requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with City and regulatory standards.

Please note: This position requires full-time onsite work. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

  • Manage and support enterprise single sign-on (SSO) and federated authentication services.

  • Design and maintain endpoint provisioning and automation workflows (e.g., automated device enrollment, configuration baselines, application deployment).
  • Support and optimize cloud identity platforms and related access policies.
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks and policies through monitoring, reporting, and proactive remediation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver a seamless and secure user experience across City systems.

  • Manage enterprise email security, continuity, and archiving platforms, ensuring reliability and compliance.
  • Administer enterprise productivity and collaboration suites, including cloud-based email, calendars, and document services.
  • Provide support and management for endpoint configuration and software distribution platforms (e.g., system management and deployment tools).

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the City's modernization and cybersecurity initiatives while working in a collaborative and professional environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the secure, efficient, and future-ready technology infrastructure that supports City operations.

  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible work as a Windows Server and/or Identity Administrator.
  • Proficiency in managing enterprise authentication protocols such as Kerberos, SAML, and OAuth.
  • Strong background in administering modern server operating systems, including upgrades, patching, and integration with identity and security platforms.
  • Hands-on involvement with cloud identity and access management, single sign-on, and hybrid directory environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to support endpoint provisioning and automation tools, including software deployment and configuration management.
  • Knowledge of and capability to manage enterprise email and collaboration systems, including security, continuity, and archiving technologies.
