Saalex Solutions - A Saalex Company is seeking a Network Administrator V to support DoD, Navy networks, and enterprise infrastructure across Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. This contingent position requires extensive experience, leadership in network architecture, and the ability to operate in high-availability environments.

Candidates should hold relevant certifications and be eligible for a Secret/Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in network administration or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with enterprise network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls).
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Security+).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in distributed and high-availability environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level leadership for enterprise network architecture, design, and operations.
• Oversee large-scale network environments including LAN/WAN, boundary systems, and secure enclaves.
• Lead implementation of advanced network security controls in alignment with RMF, STIGs, and DoD directives.
• Direct troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues across distributed environments.
• Drive network optimization, scalability, and modernization initiatives.
• Mentor senior staff and advise leadership on network strategy and engineering decisions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.

Description Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple Network Administrator V in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. The Network Administrator V supports the Navy by administering, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures network availability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
