Job summary

Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator to ensure stable operation of company networks and mobile-driven production systems.

You will manage mobile devices, deploy Line of Business applications, and enforce security posture policies across production and enterprise environments. The role covers end-to-end management of MDM platforms (Android/iOS), VoIP support with 3CX, and data protection with disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in information technology or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience with mobile device management software (Intune, Knox, JAMF).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• CompTIA Net+ or equivalent.
• Self-motivated with high initiative.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish.
• Ability to use data to drive activity, productivity and cost.
• Familiar with VOIP platforms, including SIP protocols and DID management.
• Working knowledge of certificate-based security (SCEP, PKI) for device compliance.
• Working knowledge in Android and Apple application packages (.APK, .IPA).

Responsibilities

• Document network environments and support infrastructure upgrades with Network Engineer.
• Coordinate vendor support and ensure timely resolution of service disruptions.
• Administer and maintain Mobile Device Management platforms, policies and compliance.
• Manage deployment, provisioning and configuration of mobile devices (Android, tablets, EP5G).
• Establish and maintain mobile applications and secure access for production environments.
• Support VoIP platforms including 3CX system configuration and endpoints.
• Oversee regular backups and data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures.
• Drive Kaizen activities using statistical and other improvement tools.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Network Administrator enables the stable operation of SIA’s computer networks and mobile-driven production systems. They must maintain and support production-critical network systems across the organization. The Network Administrator actively troubleshoots and resolves issues related to wireless systems, service providers, and general connectivity of mobile endpoints.

This role also provides end-to-end management of mobile device platforms, specifically android and apple-based production devices, ensuring reliable deployment of LOB (Line of Business) applications, security posture policies, and asset lifecycle management.

Outline of duties

• Ensure high availability of network systems and mobile devices to maintain plant floor performance, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Assist in documenting network environments and supporting infrastructure upgrades in coordination with Network Engineer.
• Coordinate vendor support, elevate issues, and ensure timely resolution of service disruptions.
• Administer and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, including policies, profiles, and compliance standards.
• Manage deployment, provisioning, and configuration of mobile devices (Android, tablets, production phones, EP5G devices).
• Establish and maintain mobile applications, configurations, and secure access for production and enterprise environments.
• Support VoIP communication platforms including 3CX system configuration, maintenance, and endpoints.
• Support regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Drives Kaizen activity, applies statistical and other improvement tools.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in information technology or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience with mobile device management software (Intune, Knox, JAMF).
