Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Network Administrator to provide WAN infrastructure support for the AFINC III program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time on-site role requiring TS/SCI clearance and extensive network expertise.

Responsibilities include analyzing traffic, monitoring bandwidth, and automating tasks with scripts. Certifications such as Security+, CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE are valued, with SDN knowledge considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in network administration and support.
• Must be Security+ and CCNA certified.
• CCNP and CCIE certification desired.
• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired.
• Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution.
• Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).

• Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth and report anomalies to Government team leads.

Extensive experience with enterprise level network architectures and configurations. Able to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Solid customer service and communication skills are critical as well as the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
