Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 2 years equivalent experience.
2 years LAN/WAN hands-on implementation and troubleshooting.
Able to configure and troubleshoot WAN circuits (PTP, ASE, MPLS).
Experience with EIGRP/OSPF routing protocols.
Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IPAM technologies.
Experience with Cisco and/or Aruba wired/wireless products.
CCNA preferred.
Detail oriented with strong problem solving and communication skills.
Willing to travel within their area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate strong knowledge in advanced router/switch management and wireless circuits.
Provide excellent customer service and effective communication.
Identify and manage intermediate problems on production systems.
Use standard procedures to resolve problems and escalate when needed.
Document and maintain technical standards and procedures.
Maintain network management data and generate project reports.
Participate in network upgrades and testing activities.
Support after-hours troubleshooting on a rotating basis.
