Job summary

Edge Services is seeking a Network Administrator Engineer to manage and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

The ideal candidate has expert knowledge of networking protocols and devices, strong firewall/router/VPN experience, and hands-on experience with network monitoring tools. Preference given to those with IaaS exposure and automation scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls (5+ years) is required.
• Ability to translate Layer 4 rules to Layer 7 using userID and appID.
• Experience creating custom AppIDs for traffic handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage Palo Alto infrastructure including upgrades, patches, configurations.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and reliability.
• Leverage Python scripts to automate routine tasks where possible.

• Experienced in managing Palo Alto firewalls (5+ years)
• Knowledgeable in conversation of layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID
• Understanding of creating custom appID’s
• Has managed Palo Alto infrastructure (upgrades, patches, configurations)
• Preferred – Experienced in managing Checkpoint firewalls in an IaaS environment
• Preferred – Deployed Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
• Preferred – Ability to leverage python scripts to automate tasks
