Job summary

Chenega MIOS, Arlington, VA, seeks a Network Administrator to implement and maintain the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, cloud-connected environments, and security initiatives.

The role involves configuring routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), SD-WAN, and DISA STIGs, with duties spanning troubleshooting, monitoring, and documentation in a DoD-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience.
• DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Must possess a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain CI poly
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure and services.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies to ensure reliable connectivity.
• Support cloud-connected and hybrid network environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP integrations.
• Assist with the deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of SD-WAN solutions.
• Implement and maintain DISA STIGs and DoD security requirements for network devices and infrastructure.
• Utilize tools such as SolarWinds and SD-WAN controllers to monitor network health, identify issues, and optimize performance.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Participate in troubleshooting and restoration efforts during network outages and service disruptions.
• Work with vendors and support providers to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Recommend enhancements to improve network reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required for project support.
• Other duties as assigned
