Job description

Network Administrator // Atlanta - ONSITE

Apex Systems is seeking a sharp Network Administrator to support one of our Healthcare clients onsite in Atlanta, GA.

This role will be onsite 5 days a week.

Contract: estimated 1 year with possibility to extend or convert.

Must have a valid Driver's License + reliable transportation. This role requires onsite visits to healthcare facilities (mileage reimbursed).

Pay is DOE, starting at $25/hour.

The Network Administrator will assist with the proper maintenance of LAN, Wireless, and WAN voice and data networks.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Field support for telephony products – CUCM focused work – day-to-day operations
  • Network+ certification preferred
  • Voice experience preferred
  • Some standby after-hours work
  • Rack and stack network hardware
  • Basic router and switch work, including twist locks, PDU, UPS
  • Read ping, collect feedback from ping command, voice work, etc.
  • Strong communication skills required – will work with various end users
  • Coordinate with network engineers for CLI or large switch configurations; assist with switch replacements

There will be a detailed 2-week training program when they start.

Transportation is required for site visits, with mileage reimbursed.

Basic networking experience with router, switch, phone, etc.

Technical troubleshooting skills.

High School Diploma or GED completed.
