Odyssey is seeking a Network Administrator to support the SSC/SZQY CIO office at Peterson Space Force Base. The role focuses on protecting and operating the on-premises network infrastructure within a high-stakes defense environment.

Odyssey offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Network Administrator with specialized experience in VMware and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments. This pivotal role supports the Strategic Warning and Space Surveillance Directorate CIO office (SSC/SZQY) at Peterson SFB, ensuring the seamless operation of network infrastructures crucial to missile warning systems. We are looking for a dedicated professional to oversee the integrity, reliability, and security of our on‑premises network infrastructure in a high‑stakes defense setting.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
Certification: Must meet DoD 8570/DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 or 3 requirements with an approved baseline certification.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Years of Experience: 7 or more years of directly related experience; OR, Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3 or more years of directly related experience.
Clearance: Top Secret
Certification: VMware VCP‑NV and/or Cisco CCNA certifications are highly desirable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Location: Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs CO - Building 2025
Hybrid: Hybrid (90% in office with the occasional opportunity for remote work at the discretion of the government leadership with a potential to expand remote opportunities after the system in use)
Travel: Travel up to 10% travel may be required
