SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC seeks a Sr. Network Administrator to support the BIM contract and augment Air National Guard networks. The role involves Tier 2-4 network support for NIPR/SIPR infrastructures and close collaboration with Squadron personnel.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, configuration management, and seamless documentation in ServiceNow. Requires DoD Secret clearance, CCNA or equivalent, and Security+ CE.

Qualificações

• BA/BS degree required.
• 8+ years of network administration experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides Tier 2 network administration support augmenting Air National Guard personnel in operating legacy NIPR and SIPR Base Area Network infrastructure.
• Performs shared Tier 2 network administration responsibilities including monitoring, troubleshooting, security patching per vendor guidance, and configuration management.
• Configures network equipment including switches, routers, and wireless controllers per vendor engineering design.
• Maintains network device configurations and implements changes following change management processes per TO 00-33A-1100.
• Monitors network performance using SolarWinds, Splunk, and other network management tools.
• Troubleshoots network connectivity issues, routing problems, VLAN configurations, and switching infrastructure.
• Performs security patching and vulnerability remediation on network devices.
• Responds to TCNOs, IAVAs, and USCYBERCOM/AFCYBER TASKORDs.
• Participates in local configuration control board meetings.
• Coordinates with Tier 3/4 SMEs for complex troubleshooting.
• Documents network changes in ServiceNow.
• Retains administrative privileges and access alongside Communications Squadron personnel.

SMS is hiring a Sr. Network Administrator to support our Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract. This position will provide Tier 2-4 Network Administration support augmenting Air National Guard Communications Squadron personnel in operating NIPR and SIPR Base Area Network infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides Tier 2 network administration support augmenting Air National Guard Communications Squadron personnel in operating legacy NIPR and SIPR Base Area Network infrastructure
• Performs shared Tier 2 network administration responsibilities including network monitoring, troubleshooting, security patching per vendor guidance, and configuration management
• Configures network equipment including switches, routers, and wireless controllers per vendor engineering design
• Maintains network device configurations and implements approved changes following change management processes per TO 00-33A-1100
• Monitors network performance using SolarWinds, Splunk, and other network management tools
• Troubleshoots network connectivity issues, routing problems, VLAN configurations, and switching infrastructure
• Performs security patching and vulnerability remediation on network devices
• Responds to Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs), Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), and USCYBERCOM/AFCYBER TASKORDs
• Participate in local configuration control board meetings
• Coordinates with Tier 3/4 Subject Matter Experts for complex troubleshooting requiring advanced engineering support
• Documents network changes in Enterprise ITSM solution (ServiceNow)
• Retains administrative privileges and access alongside Communications Squadron personnel

Required Qualifications

Education:

BA/BS Degree

Experience: 8 Years of relevant experience

• Certifications Required:
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent
  • CompTIA Security+CE required
• Clearance Required:
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required
