Overview
This position develops on top of the NetSuite platform to maintain, improve, and build functionality for Oracle's internal copy of NetSuite. As part of a large global team, the developer will need strong programming skills and an ability to work remotely as part of a larger group.
Responsibilities
- Program and develop software on the NetSuite platform. Resolve development/troubleshooting solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints. Participate in developing the overall design and implementation of custom structures, codes, searches, and reports.
- Work on problems of varying complexity where analysis of situation or data requires a review of various factors. Evaluate conditions using multiple sources of information.
- Collaborate with a global team of remote team members to deliver quality feature work on time and provide technical expertise to Product Managers.
- Perform peer and code reviews for other members of the team.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ or more years in programming or other technical implementation experience. A solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and the ability to deliver code on schedule.
- Familiarity with general programming languages, design patterns, and related concepts. Experience building web-based applications are preferred. Experience with metadata-driven architecture or role-based access control is a plus.
- Programming experience in java, javascript, or NetSuite SuiteScript preferred. Experience in the NetSuite application is not required.
- Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently and make convincing arguments for the direction of features or implementation.
- Excellent communication and English skills. A track record of successfully working with a combination of local and remote development, QA, and technical writing team to deliver quality products.
- Computer Science or similar degree; or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
