Job description
NetSuite Field Service Management Consultant (Part Time)

Rate: Up to $130 per hour

Schedule: Part time, 15 to 25 hours per week

Location: Remote in the U.S. with occasional field sessions

Duration: Three to six months, possible extension

About the role

Own the functional build for NetSuite FSM so field tickets translate to accurate invoices, job and basin margin, and clean cash collection. You will work with Operations, Dispatch, and Accounting to stand up scheduling, mobile workflows, and billing that match the realities of crews, equipment, parts, and travel.

What you will do
  • Design the end to end FSM process from ticket creation to invoice and cash
  • Configure job and service item structures, tasks, bundles, and pricing rules
  • Stand up scheduling and dispatch, technician calendars, and capacity planning
  • Define mobile data capture for labor, parts, equipment usage, signatures, and safety forms
  • Ensure integration to Inventory, Advanced Inventory, and WMS where applicable
  • Map PO usage and three way match for parts and rentals tied to jobs
  • Build saved searches, dashboards, and alerts for ticket defects, unbilled time, and DSO risks
  • Partner with Accounting on WIP, accruals, and cutoff so revenue and COGS are recognized correctly
  • Train field supervisors and admins on coding compliance and documentation standards
  • Establish playbooks for ticket review, billing packages, and customer specific requirements
What you bring
  • 5 plus years in service operations or project accounting with direct NetSuite FSM experience
  • Strong understanding of ticket flows, job costing, and revenue rules in a service environment
  • Practical experience reducing DSO and improving first pass invoice acceptance
  • Ability to translate field feedback into simple, reliable system behavior
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets and strong reconciliation skills
Nice to have
  • Background in oilfield services, industrial services, or energy
  • Experience with RF SMART or similar for inventory and warehouse flows
  • Familiarity with EDI billing packages and customer portals
