Job Title: NetSuite Developer
Location: Remote
Job Type/duration 6 month Contract with potential for extension/conversion
Rate: $60-$65 /hr
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced NetSuite Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing, customizing, and maintaining NetSuite ERP solutions to meet the business needs of the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of NetSuite functionalities, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and integration with other business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- NetSuite Customization and Configuration:
- Customize and configure NetSuite to align with business processes and requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective NetSuite solutions.
- Configure dashboards, reports, saved searches, and KPIs within the NetSuite system.
- SuiteScript Development:
- Develop custom SuiteScript solutions (SuiteScript 1.0 and SuiteScript 2.0) for automating processes, integrating third-party applications, and enhancing system functionality.
- Create custom workflows, user interfaces, and business logic for various NetSuite modules.
- NetSuite Integration:
- Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems (e.g., Dynamics CRM, Concur, Payment Systems, Payroll Systems, external databases).
- Ensure smooth data transfer, synchronization, and accuracy across integrated systems.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for NetSuite users.
- Investigate and resolve any technical issues or performance bottlenecks.
- NetSuite SuiteAnalytics and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain custom reports and saved searches to support data-driven decision-making.
- Customize and optimize SuiteAnalytics tools for financial and operational reporting.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to define requirements and ensure smooth system operation.
- Document development processes, configurations, and customizations to ensure proper maintenance and future upgrades. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) working with NetSuite ERP systems, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite modules (e.g., Financials, Order Management, Commissions).
- Proficiency in SuiteScript (both 1.0 and 2.0), SuiteFlow, and custom development.
- Experience with integration technologies such as RESTlets, SOAP web services, and data import/export tools.
- Experience with NetSuite reporting tools (Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Skills:
- NetSuite Certification (e.g., NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer, NetSuite ERP Consultant).
- Knowledge of financial and accounting processes.
