OPEN TO LOCAL AND NON-LOCAL 100% Remote

Expert IT Product Specialist – NetOps

Implementing a new monitoring framework to support Network, Systems, and AIOps/ML known as the Enterprise Network Management System (ENMS). The ENMS is a multi-year program for network and infrastructure monitoring, supporting over 20K devices across network, telecom, facilities, and infrastructure, with new capabilities around AIOps and Automation. The position reports to the Manager of the IT Operations Tools team.

The candidate must have a strong understanding of network monitoring and event management technologies in large enterprise environments, with experience managing network equipment from various vendors using enterprise-level monitoring tools.

Responsibilities
  • Install and configure network monitoring tools.
  • Monitor system health and performance.
  • Collaborate with network system owners for new monitoring requirements.
  • Provision and configure monitoring for network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and WaaS.
  • Integrate tools with Remedy and provide client support and training.
  • Support troubleshooting, log support tickets, and apply patches and hotfixes.
  • Manage vulnerabilities by reviewing and installing patches.
  • Transition projects to the Operations Team.
Required Skills / Experience
  • Proficiency with Broadcom (CA) DX NetOps solutions: Spectrum, PM, NFA.
  • Experience supporting these solutions for network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless.
  • Experience integrating Broadcom NetOps with other Broadcom solutions and third-party tools like Remedy.
  • Planning for hardware and software installation, sizing, etc.
  • Familiarity with Remedy incident, change, and work order management.
  • Certificate management skills.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools and protocols such as SNMP, MPLS.
  • Collaboration with network, Windows, UNIX, and application teams.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT Networking, Security, or related fields.
Desired Skills / Experience
  • Over 10 years supporting Network Fault and Performance Management tools in large enterprises.
  • At least 5 years supporting Broadcom (CA) NetOps solutions.
  • Experience creating and maintaining integrations between Broadcom AIOps solutions.
  • Managing product licenses, reviewing, and installing patches.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PERL, Groovy.
