Job summary

Intelliforce is seeking a Systems Engineer to maintain and optimize mission-critical infrastructure. You will manage NetApp storage, VMware vSphere, and Linux environments, while supporting Rancher-based platforms.

The role emphasizes storage engineering and infrastructure sustainment, with close collaboration across teams on secure, reliable operations. You will be a key technical resource, enabling mission programs with a hands-on, independent mindset and a clear path to ownership as

Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, active; no sponsorship
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen; no visa sponsorship
• 14 years of Systems Engineer experience on similar programs/contracts
• Five more years of Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure through deployment, sustainment, and operations
• Ability to analyze system requirements and translate to infrastructure solutions
• Experience developing and maintaining technical/operational documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration across infrastructure, systems, security, and applications teams

Responsibilities

• Administer and sustain NetApp storage environments
• Support NetApp plugins and storage integrations within the platform
• Monitor storage health, capacity, availability, and performance
• Troubleshoot storage-related issues and identify root causes
• Support VMware vSphere environments and related virtual infrastructure
• Perform Linux systems administration across supported environments
• Maintain configurations and support lifecycle activities
• Support Rancher-based platform environments
• Assist infrastructure integration and sustainment activities
• Ensure secure configuration, patching, hardening, and policy compliance
• Troubleshoot hardware, storage, virtualization, Linux, and platform issues
• Coordinate with application, systems, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve problems
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Support testing/validation of infrastructure changes before production
• Provide input on storage and infrastructure requirements as systems evolve
