Job summary

Team UIS in West Michigan seeks multiple NETA Field Service Technicians to join our growing office. You will test electrical systems and perform maintenance to ensure safety and reliability for clients.

Qualifications

• NETA II or higher certification or experience with electrical testing, P&C, relays, etc.

• Member of the IBEW or willing to join.
• NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship background.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a positive attitude.

• Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges with a commitment to finding optimal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform NETA electrical maintenance and acceptance testing tasks.
• Test both digital and mechanical relays.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, both emergency and non-emergency.
• Assist with project management, including work order creation, field file management, and coordination.
• Support project closures by addressing punch lists and additional scopes.
• Provide 24-hour emergency client support.
• Assist in completing detailed testing reports.
