Job summary

Jsr Associates is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA I–IV) to test, commission and maintain electrical power equipment at substations, industrial plants, and data centers in the Dallas area. The role spans Levels I–IV with a clear path to advancement and NETA certification support.

You will test medium- and high-voltage switchgear, breakers and transformers, operate power factor and hipot test sets, and assist with outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• NETA certification at I–IV or equivalent experience and willingness to certify.
• Hands-on high-voltage/power factor testing experience preferred.
• Ability to read one-lines and schematics and follow test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and maintain medium- and high-voltage switchgear and equipment.
• Run high-voltage testing with power factor and related sets.
• Lead field activities at Level III–IV when required and mentor juniors.
