Job summary

Symposit LLC is seeking an IT Engineer/Systems Analyst for full-time on-site support of a federal .NET-based IT portfolio management system in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on reporting, budget tracking, and compliance within a fast-paced federal environment.

You will analyze architecture, manage backlogs, perform testing, and collaborate with stakeholders across agile sprints and integrations to ensure timely releases and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Systems Analysis/Engineering within federal IT.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, and cloud services; JavaScript frameworks a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, strong analysis, testing, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and federal security training.
• Excellent communication for stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze application architecture (.NET MVC, SQL Server, cloud platforms) for enhancements and migrations.
• Conduct business analysis, manage backlog, and support monthly minor releases (UI, reports, configs).
• Perform testing (unit, integration, UAT), code scanning, and meet SLAs (hotfixes <24hrs, patches <14 days).
