Job summary

MagicForce is seeking a .NET API Solution Architect to join an Agile healthcare team delivering robust RESTful services in a remote capacity.

You will design and implement scalable APIs in C# using .NET 7/8, Azure services, and Cosmos DB, ensuring secure, high-performance solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

This 12-month engagement emphasizes modern CI/CD, structured logging, and observability with Application Insights and Azure Monitor.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end REST API development with C# and .NET 7/8.
• Knowledge of API integration with internal and external systems.
• Experience with Azure Functions and various triggers.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable REST APIs in C# on .NET 7/8.
• Integrate APIs with internal and third-party systems.
• Build Azure Functions with HTTP, Timer, Service Bus, and Event Grid triggers.
• Design high-throughput, low-latency APIs.
• Implement OAuth2/JWT and Azure AD/Entra ID authentication.
• Ensure secure deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
• Enable logging and monitoring with Application Insights and Azure Monitor.
• Work with Cosmos DB and other scalable data stores.
• Apply resiliency patterns (timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, idempotency).

Job Description

As an .Net Solution Architect, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards .

Mandatory skills: -

• .Net 7 or 8 (Backend)
• Restful API
• Azure

Good to have:

• Experience with Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads

Responsibilities: -

• Strong prior experience in end-to-end REST API development using C# and the latest .NET (.NET 7/8)
• Experience developing APIs that integrate with internal systems and external/third-party APIs
• Experience building Azure Functions with multiple triggers (HTTP, Timer, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.)
• Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency APIs handling millions of transactions
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD / Entra ID
• Apply API integration and resiliency patterns (timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, idempotency)
• Develop APIs using Azure App Services and Azure platform services
• Implement structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing using Application Insights and Azure Monitor
