Job summary

S R International Inc is recruiting a Jr Software Tester for .NET applications to support the State of Ohio - DCY project. This role is hybrid, with in-person interviews and a schedule of 3 days onsite; local candidates in Kentucky/Ohio are preferred.

You will design and execute tests, assist with QA standards, support deployments, and collaborate with business and IT staff to document requirements across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester for .NET and Cloud-Native Applications
• Experience independently developing testing strategy, test plans and test cases for a new .NET application

Responsibilities

• Designs and performs system analysis, tests and corrects programs.
• Assists in supporting user acceptance testing.
• Performs software deployment tasks and source control activities.
• Assists with IT quality assurance standards and testing.
• Develops testing procedures and documentation for SDLC activities.
• Reads and reports from compounded files and documents software requirements.
• Leads discussions with technical and non-technical staff on basic topics in software development.
• Provides post-production support for business applications including troubleshooting.
