Job summary

Navitas Business Consulting in Herndon, VA is seeking a Software Developer .Net to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet client requirements.

You will analyze specifications, build efficient code in .NET and Python, create APIs, and integrate backend systems while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders. Willingness to travel to client sites nationwide and relocate as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Python programming experience and solid OOP knowledge.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, APIs, and backend development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and deployment methodologies.
• Active Top Secret clearance; willingness to travel to client locations in the US.
• Ability to relocate to Herndon, VA as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and maintain computer programs and software applications according to functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze business requirements, system specifications, and technical documentation to develop appropriate programming solutions.
• Develop and maintain application components, backend processes, APIs, database interfaces, and system integrations.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and application enhancements to improve software functionality and performance.
• Support software deployments, system upgrades, configuration changes, production environments, and ongoing application maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with technical and client teams and travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States as required by assigned projects, with expenses paid by the employer.
