Job summary

FL State Government Agency in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a .NET Software Engineer on a renewable annual contract to lead development on complex financial business processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a track record of 7+ years as a lead .NET developer, plus 5+ years with Azure SQL, SQL Server and Oracle databases. USC and GC holders only will be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years as a lead developer in .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• 5+ years with Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases or similar relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Work as developer, facilitator and SME for applications dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional projects, ensuring robust and scalable solutions are implemented.
• Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging, and production environments.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems and issues with troubleshooting tools and techniques as well as teamwork.
• Work with the team toward continuous improvement; may include design, definition of roadmaps, standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with other developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation.
• Work in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated, supported, and delivered to the highest standards.
• Develop and apply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies.

Compensation: Pay = $48/Hr - $50/Hr

Work Authorization: ONLY USC and GC with permanent residence - NO other visas will be considered

Scope:

Responsibilities include development, maintenance and serving as a subject matter expert for applications dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or another related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• 7+ years as a lead developer in .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio
• 5+ years of broad experience working with development technologies, including Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases or similar relational databases.
