Job summary

State of Ohio seeks a Software Development Specialist 1 to develop and modify programs, test and assist with analysis and design using C# and .NET. You will work from the Columbus location with standard full-time hours and onsite collaboration.

Primary technologies include SQL Server, HTML/JavaScript, Azure & AWS. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer focus, and delivering reliable software solutions within public safety IT projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing/modifying computer applications and performing testing and debugging.
• Experience with primary technology: C#/.NET, SQL, HTML/JavaScript, Azure & AWS.
• Ability to design with supervision and create test data and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or modify programs for computer applications and perform testing and debugging.
• Read, write, extract and report data from files as needed.
• Create or modify program modules, excluding static content or graphics for web design.
• Write test cases and scripts for unit and systems testing with minimal supervision.
• Create or set up test data for scenario testing.
