Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a skilled software engineer for a long-term onsite contract in Los Angeles. You will design and build modern web applications using .NET/C#, React, and Azure, focusing on scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

The role covers backend and frontend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, and CI/CD participation, with collaboration across product, QA, and operations to deliver high-quality software on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and usability.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications.
• Implement best practices for application security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
