Job summary

Job description

Overview

10+ years of experience in Application Development and Maintenance with a focus on Windows (Win32) Services and C#, .NET Framework.

Responsibilities / Experience

• Developing and maintaining multi-threaded code.
• Using the Quartz timer library (CRON strings).
• Basic TCP/IP network calls (until Netserver goes away), then HTTPS network experience.
• Extensive experience with XML and XSL transforms; adapter uses complex XSL transforms.
• Basic object-oriented design (interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism); includes abstract design for translating XML requests from AWD Netserver into SOAP or RESTful interface requests that Chorus can understand, and translating results back to the caller.

Communication and Collaboration

• Good communication skills with non-technical users and other programmers calling the adapter.

Nice to Have

• Some experience with AWD Netserver and SS&C Chorus APIs.
• Git source repositories (Bitbucket Cloud).
• Visual Studio 2022.
• Knowledge in Life Insurance domain is a plus.
• Exposure to AWD is a plus.
