Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 in Texas to drive SDLC activities across design, development, testing, and deployment of .NET-based applications. Candidates will build RESTful APIs, work with Angular, and collaborate in AI-enabled projects within financial services.

The role emphasizes solution design, code refinement, and proactive issue resolution in a fast-moving team. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; three years' experience may substitute for education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specs and create process docs.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve performance.
• Support integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions in the system.
• Monitor live applications and document issues for maintenance.
• Document coding practices and testing methodologies to enrich the knowledge base.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skill And Experience

• Experience in .NET, .Net core,
• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using .NET Framework / .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / Web API
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience in Angular

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience in SQL Server
• Work with databases to design, optimize, and manage data (SQL Server preferred)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Hands on experience in AI tools like Claude, Github- CoPilot

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
