Job summary

Infosys Limited in Austin, TX, seeks a Technology Consultant II to design, develop, test, and deploy applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and Angular. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, participate in Agile ceremonies, and work with SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities include documenting business requirements, guiding design decisions, coding, reviewing, and ensuring quality, with opportunities to mentor and collaborate across teams in a dynamic AI-enabled digital services

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required in a relevant field.
• Strong experience with .NET/.NET Core and ASP.NET Web API.
• Proficiency in Angular and RESTful API design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation and document business needs.
• Lead design discussions and document decisions for development teams.
• Code, integrate features, and maintain system stability.
• Perform code reviews and manage code repositories.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in .NET, .Net core,
• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using .NET Framework / .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / Web API
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience in Angular

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience in WebAPI
• Experience in SQL Server
• Work with databases to design, optimize, and manage data (SQL Server preferred)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Hands on experience in AI tools like Claude, Github- CoPilot

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
