Job summary

Qualifications

Position Overview

UpSela Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Application Developer (.NET/Azure) to support a client in Oklahoma City. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting secure, scalable, cloud-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on application development experience across .NET/ASP.NET, REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, and modern front-end technologies such as React or Angular. The developer will work in an Agile environment and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver reliable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, reusable, and maintainable application code.
• Develop and enhance web applications and RESTful APIs using the .NET/ASP.NET technology stack.
• Build and support cloud‑based applications using Microsoft Azure.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using React, Angular, Node.js, or related technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, identify pain points, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex application and system integration issues.
• Review and contribute to application architecture and technical designs.
• Develop and optimize solutions using SQL Server, T‑SQL, stored procedures, and database optimization techniques.
• Monitor application performance and optimize systems for reliable and efficient response times.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, feature demonstrations, technical reviews, and development planning.
• Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for development workflows, source control, and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve development and deployment processes.
• Evaluate the technical feasibility of new applications, enhancements, and system modifications.
• Identify application dependencies, technical requirements, and system constraints.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2–4+ years of application development experience.
• Development experience in at least two of the following areas:
• Web and API development using .NET / ASP.NET
• Front‑end development using React, Angular, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Web Services, XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, and caching.
• Experience with SQL Server, T‑SQL, stored procedures, and database performance optimization.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and source‑control workflows.
• Experience working within an Agile software development environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to learn and work with new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Contract Details
