Nord Security is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to advance the NordVPN Windows desktop application, ensuring robust features and performance. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver updates on a world‑renowned security product.

The role requires 4+ years in .NET/C# development, strong OO design, and hands-on experience with WPF/UWP/XAML. Hybrid work is offered with a mix of office and remote days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience with .NET/C#.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with WPF, UWP, or similar XAML-based tech.
• Knowledge of Windows APIs and native Windows concepts.
• Experience with unit testing and quality practices.
• Ability to adapt to changes and solve edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Work on NordVPN Windows desktop app and ensure features are up to date.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and Product Owner to build/maintain software for a leading product.
• Use Microsoft tools to extend product functionality; focus on code quality.
• Participate in a team-based approach to software development and troubleshooting.
• Leverage technologies beyond .NET when needed.
