Job summary

Parth in Washington, DC is seeking a .NET/SharePoint Developer for a 12-month onsite engagement. Requires 6+ years in .NET development, 1–2 years SharePoint experience, and proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, templates, web services, and XML.

Responsibilities include setting up SharePoint infrastructure, admin support and training, backup/disaster recovery, deployments, and configuring Excel services and InfoPath forms. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS or equivalent.
• 1–2 years SharePoint development experience.
• Experience with SharePoint Templates (Application Templates, Master Pages, and Role-Based Templates).
• 6 years of software development experience in .NET technologies and Visual Studio.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of development within a SharePoint environment.
• OO design and development in distributed environments using C#, ASP.Net, C or Java.
• Strong working knowledge of web services and XML.
• Strong experience in SharePoint workflow design, development and implementation using Visual Studio, WWF or other software.

• Lead the adoption and day-to-day administration and training/support for the end users.
• Implement SharePoint backup, restoration and disaster recovery plans.
• Responsible for production deployments, upgrades and patches.
• Configure out-of-box features like Excel services, work flows and info-path forms.
• Manage user permissions and develop appropriate lifecycle documentation to support the design, deployment, and maintenance.

• Microsoft.NET Developer must possess a minimum of 1 to 2 years SharePoint development
• Experience with SharePoint Templates (Application Templates, Master Pages, and Role-Based Templates).
• 6 years of software development experience in .NET technologies and Visual Studio
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of development within a SharePoint environment.
• Demonstrated capability as a developer in object-oriented design & development in the distributed environments using C#, ASP.Net. C or Java.
• Strong working knowledge of web services and XML
• Strong experience in SharePoint workflow design, development and implementation using Visual Studio, WWF or other software
