Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong Oracle and MS SQL Server background for a 12‑month contract in New York. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, starting Sept 1, 2026.

Responsibilities include developing .NET applications, configuring IIS, and supporting CI/CD deployments. The ideal candidate will work across development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams in an Agile environment, delivering high-quality software and supporting

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Experience developing and supporting web applications, APIs, and Windows services.
• Experience with Microsoft IIS configuration and administration.
• Strong MS SQL Server experience, including queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git/Git Bash and source-code management.
• Experience with deployment and troubleshooting across environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum; Jira experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy, and maintain .NET web apps, APIs, and services.
• Work with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core on multiple environments.
• Manage Microsoft IIS configuration, including SSL certificates.
• Handle SSL certificate renewal and deployment checks.
• Configure connection strings, app settings, and deployment configs.
• Develop queries and procedures in MS SQL Server; assist Oracle SQL work.
• Collaborate in Agile teams using Jira; participate in code reviews.
• Support deployments and ensure readiness across environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
