Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and business analysts, analyze/classify complex change requests and review/evaluate possible enhancements
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
May mentor others on coding standards and perform code reviews
May aid in integration activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project effort

Requirements

BA/BS degree or technical institute training
Minimum of 5 years applied experience using C# in .NET Framework
Knowledge or experience in ASP.NET, MVC 3+, WCF, ADO.NET
Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL including database development and optimization/performance tuning
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
A good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and multi-tier applications
Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
