Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pennington, NJ is seeking a Net Developer to design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, optimize SQL Server databases, and work with Azure cloud services to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with analysts, QA, and architects in an Agile environment, contributing to code reviews, security implementations, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, .NET 6/7/8.
• Hands-on experience with Web API, RESTful Services, Microservices Architecture.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework (EF), LINQ, ADO.NET.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Performance Tuning.
• Experience with MVC Architecture, Razor Pages, and Blazor.
• Familiarity with Dependency Injection (DI) and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault).
• Knowledge of Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka).
• Experience with Authentication & Authorization (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, SSO).
• Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines.
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization.
• Experience with Unit Testing using NUnit, xUnit, MSTest.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET technologies.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Create and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Implement security best practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure application scalability, performance, and maintainability.
