Everforth Apex Systems in Chicago, IL is seeking a .NET/Angular/React developer to join the Global Information Security team on-site for a 4-month contract. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered applications across the stack with emphasis on unit testing.

You will work with Git, SQL, and the Entity Framework, participate in Agile practices, and contribute to testable code within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Net Developer (Angular/ React)

Location: Chicago, Illinois (On-site)

Duration: 4 months

Role Overview

We are seeking a .Net/Angular/React developer to join our Global Information Security team. In this role, you will use your experience to assist in the design, development, and implementation of complex, high-volume, multi-tiered, and distributed transactional applications. You will contribute throughout the application stack, following best practices for source code control and unit testing.

• Follow team-established best practices, including proper source code control with Git.

• Contribute to an Agile development process, participating in various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Work with relational databases, demonstrating strong abilities in SQL and data modeling.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Previous experience in application programming or development.
• Experience working in an Agile development process and understanding of its culture, roles, and tools.
• Experience with data access technologies, patterns, and component-based web application frameworks.
• Relational database experience with abilities in SQL, data modeling, SQL Objects, and query optimization.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of .NET.
• Knowledge of Angular or React framework.
• Knowledge of SqlServer databases and the Entity Framework library.
• Understanding of the Git version control system.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks.
• Conceptual understanding of Object Oriented Programming and SOLID design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong DevOps specialist background is desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with technical and non-technical teams.
