Job summary

Tech Army, LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to join our government-focused development team in NY. You will work on enterprise web applications using .NET (C#/VB.NET), SQL Server/Oracle, Angular, and Web API 2 with EF. The role requires strong OO design, API development, and modern SPA patterns.

Qualifications include 6+ years in .NET, 6+ years SQL, 2+ years Angular 4+, and hands-on experience with TOAD is a plus. Knowledge of Python and PHP is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years Microsoft .NET (C# or VB.NET).
• Minimum 6 years PL-SQL/Transact-SQL/ANSI-SQL with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Angular 4+ and Bootstrap, SPA.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Web API 2 and EF 5.0+.
• Minimum 3+ years in .NET Framework 4.5+ with VB.Net/C# OO concepts, ASP.NET lifecycle, AJAX.
• Oracle 19c+ or SQL Server 2012+, DDL/DML, PL-SQL in packages/stored procedures; performance tuning.

Job description

Required experience/skills/knowledge (software/hardware/project, etc)

• Minimum (6) years Microsoft. NET (C# or VB.Net)
• Minimum (6) years PL-SQL/Transact-SQL/ANSI-SQL technologies/standards (Oracle or SQL Server)
• Minimum (2) years' experience in Angular 4 onwards, Twitter Bootstrap, SPA (Single-Page Application),
• Minimum (2) years' experience in Web API 2, Entity Framework 5.0 or higher

Minimum of 3 yrs. Required working experience (otherwise, please don't send resume) in the following areas:

• .Net Framework 4.5 or higher using VB.Net/C# Object oriented concepts, ASP.Net page life cycle, AJAX.
• Oracle 19c or higher or SQL Server 2012, DDL/DML, PL-SQL knowledge in packages, stored procedures, functions, performance tuning of SQL code.

Preferred but not required experience / skills / knowledge: in the following areas

• TSF 2013 or higher, Branching, Builds Queuing, Web Application Deployment and understanding of Application Change Control
• Well versed in TOAD, experience working with large Oracle databases, data import export to PDF, Excel and text files.
• Knowledge of Python and PHP
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC or Razor Pages for building dynamic web UIs
• Knowledge of or experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies, preferably within a government or public sector environment, including an understanding of AI-assisted software development, productivity tools, or emerging AI solutions.
