Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to digital transformation for Communications, Media & Technology clients in Richardson, TX. The role covers requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding, testing, and documentation to deliver robust software solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong .NET and AWS experience, with Web APIs, SQL, CI/CD, and DevOps familiarity, enabling end-to-end SDLC participation in a collaborative, high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in .NET development and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Web APIs, SQL, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, SQS, EC2.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements and guide development.
• Facilitate design discussions and document design decisions for the team.
• Contribute to coding and integrate features while maintaining stability.
• Perform code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality.
• Develop training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and suggest preventive reliability improvements.
• Maintain detailed records to enrich the knowledge base.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Experience in .NET.
• Experience in AWS cloud platform (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQS, EC2).

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience in Web APIs & WCF Webservices, SQL.
• Familiarity of CI/CD pipeline and DevOps.
• Experience in ADF pipeline, ETL & Data Quality.
• Analytical, oral, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
• Self-learner with effective time management skills.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
