Job summary

ACS Consultancy Services on Broadway, NY (Hybrid) seeks a .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework/Core, JavaScript, and SQL in a multi-environment setup.

You'll configure IIS, SSL, and deployment pipelines, collaborate in Agile sprints with Jira, and work with MS SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL. Strong troubleshooting and SDLC knowledge are essential for success.

• Strong experience with JavaScript, including advanced JavaScript development.

• Strong experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Strong experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and Windows desktop applications.
• Configure and manage IIS, including application pools and site bindings.
• Install, configure, renew, and troubleshoot SSL certificates.
• Use GitBash for cloning repositories, managing branches, and pulling updates.
• Build, troubleshoot, and debug applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Configure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and deployment configurations.
• Write SQL queries and stored procedures using MS SQL Server.
• Perform basic MS SQL Server database maintenance.
• Work with Oracle databases and develop SQL/PLSQL solutions as needed.
• Utilize front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap to support application interfaces.
• Perform unit testing and regression testing to ensure application functionality, stability, and quality.
• Collaborate with team members using Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and Agile workflow management.
• Assist in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain proper version control practices and branching strategies.
• Ensure applications are deployment-ready across multiple environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve application and deployment issues.
