Job summary

TheCorporate is seeking a skilled .NET Developer for a 1-year hybrid role in New York. You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and modern web tech.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of experience, strong SQL/PL-SQL, IIS, Git-based workflows, and a solid grasp of Agile SDLC. The position requires onsite presence at 2 Broadway with 2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall software development experience.
• 6+ years with .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET).
• 6+ years with SQL Server, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• 6+ years with PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• 6+ years with Web Development (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap).
• 6+ years with IIS (Internet Information Services).
• Experience with Git-based version control (e.g., Git Bash, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience with unit testing and regression testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and desktop applications.
• Configure and manage IIS, including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificate management.
• Use Git Bash for repository management, branch handling, and pull updates during development.
• Build, troubleshoot, and debug applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Perform unit and regression testing to ensure application stability and quality.
• Configure connection strings, environment variables, and deployment settings.
• Collaborate with database teams to write optimized queries and stored procedures in MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Support front-end development using JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives using Jira.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to peer code reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain version control best practices, branching strategies, and deployment readiness.
