Job summary

HRB is seeking a software developer to design, develop, and maintain multi-tier web applications. The role covers e-commerce sites, mobile sites, and intranet portals for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, using Visual Studio and a variety of approved technologies.

Requirements include 3+ years of development experience and strong knowledge of .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, and SQL Server. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years software development experience.
• Proficient in .NET Framework and C#, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, and ADO.NET.
• Experience with T-SQL and writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Strong front-end skills with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience with Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Familiar with Team Foundation Server for source control and build management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable.

Develop multi-tier web applications for customers and internal users using Visual Studio. Enhance and support e-commerce sites, mobile sites and intranet for the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Design, develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements, using approved technologies and coding standards. Communicate with business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications. Translate requirements into functional code. Collaborate with team members on projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degreepreferred.
• 3+ years software development experience.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, client-server architecture and relational database design.
• Knowledge of .NET Framework and ability to work with C#, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC and ADO.NET.
• Experience using T-SQL with the ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSSpreferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience using Team Foundation Server for source control and build managementa plus.
