Job summary

cyberThink in Mechanicsville, VA seeks an experienced .NET Developer on a 12-month hybrid contract. You will modernize an enterprise transaction platform using microservices, design and build backend services and APIs, and collaborate in an Agile environment.

The role focuses on .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, SQL Server (Azure-hosted), CI/CD, and cloud integration with Azure. Strong debugging, architectural, and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Experience integrating applications with SQL Server environments, including Azure-hosted databases.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools for source control and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience integrating backend applications with ETL solutions such as SSIS, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, building scalable enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems concepts is desirable.
• Experience supporting high-availability environments and enterprise-scale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
