Job summary

Talentify is seeking a skilled .NET Developer in Houston, TX, hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services using .NET technologies for high-traffic eCommerce platforms.

You will work with ASP.NET, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems; collaboration with Product, UX, QA, and other engineering teams is essential in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Proven experience building Web APIs and ASP.NET web applications.
• Experience with JavaScript and modern front-end development practices.
• Hands-on experience with React.js preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services using .NET and .NET Core.

We are seeking a talented .NET Developer to join a leading digital commerce and eCommerce technology organization that supports a portfolio of well-known home improvement and specialty retail brands. This team is responsible for building and enhancing customer-facing applications and backend services that power large-scale online shopping experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern cloud-based applications, distributed systems, and high-traffic digital platforms while collaborating with an experienced engineering team in a fast-paced Agile environment.

• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Cursor
  • Claude Code
• Experience working in cloud environments and modern microservices architectures.
• Background supporting high-volume eCommerce or customer-facing digital platforms.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be local to the Houston area.
