Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. .Net Applications Analyst to join a dynamic Berkeley-based team.

You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting multiple projects, collaborating with Project Managers, and documenting solutions with an emphasis on frontend and backend .NET technologies. The role is contract-based, hybrid in Berkeley, CA, with a pay range of $70.00-$90.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET
• Languages: VB.Net, C#, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML
• Minimum 5-8 years in backend software design in SQL Server, Stored procedures, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#
• Windows, Linux with Shell scripting experience would be a plus
• 7 - 10 years of actual experience in the workplace
• Experience developing websites using a Content Management System (CMS) is desired

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Sr. .Net Applications Analyst, who will need to be

bright, imaginative, and capable technologist specifically seeking a smaller and dynamic

environment where their potential will be maximized through the challenging projects.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with Project Managers to determine needs and applying / customizing existing
• Maintaining and supporting multiple projects and deadlines
• Recording work progress on a weekly basis
• Document existing solutions and identify urgent fix/upgrade needs and address the same

technology to meet those needs

SKILLS:

• Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design,
• functionality, testing and support
• Ability to develop large scale web/database applications
• Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager
• Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
• Ability to construct user guides and documentation
• Project Management skills are a plus
• Adobe Photoshop skills
• Excellent knowledge of Transact SQL, MS SQL and MY SQL
• Working experience with Content Management Systems is a huge plus

*Important: Candidates need to be good with an Analyst/Developer type role. This role is 60%+ maintenance/support so candidates need to be good with that.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Berkeley, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
