Job summary

TASQ is seeking a senior/consultant application engineer for a full-time remote role. The position requires residence in the Philippines and offers opportunities to work on Azure-focused projects within a supportive consulting environment.

The candidate will develop front-end and cloud-native applications using Python, C#/.NET, Angular, React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, with emphasis on cloud platforms, containers, and serverless architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of application development experience with Python, C#/.NET, Angular, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Front-end and cloud-native app development using PaaS, containers, serverless architectures, and modern JS/TS frameworks.
• Keen to learn new cloud technologies and design complex cloud architectures.
• Consulting experience and strong OOAD/OOD and design patterns knowledge.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Interest in Mobile, IoT, and Blockchain applications.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

TASQ is currently seeking a senior/consultant application engineer. The initial pre-screening interview will be conducted via phone.

Work Arrangement:

Full-time remote position (must reside in the Philippines)

Work Schedule:

5 PM to 1 AM

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of application development experience, with proficiency in Python, C# .NET Framework, Angular, Microservices, React, and Node.js
• Relevant experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
• Passionate about developing front-end and cloud-native applications using PaaS, containers, serverless architectures, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Enthusiastic about learning and adopting new cloud technologies
• Hands-on coding skills with the ability to design complex cloud architectures
• Previous experience working in a consulting environment
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and Design Patterns
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Interest or experience in Mobile, IoT, and Blockchain applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Preferred Skills/Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Azure, Microsoft, Agile, etc.
