Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced Technical Lead / Senior .NET Software Engineer for a hands-on role in Winston-Salem, NC. You will lead development teams and drive architecture while delivering scalable enterprise applications using .NET Core, React, and AWS.

The position starts as a contractor with a path to full-time after ~six months, based on performance and business needs. Must work onsite five days a week in Winston-Salem. Pays $50.00–$75.00 per hour.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a growing technology team. This is a hands‑on role for a seasoned engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core, React, and AWS Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading development teams, driving technical decisions, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to start as a contractor and transition to a full-time employee after approximately six months based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on .NET development experience

• Strong experience developing applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

• Experience building modern front-end applications with React.js

• Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions within AWS Cloud

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices preferred

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies preferred

• Knowledge of serverless architectures and AWS services such as:

• Lambda

• ECS/EKS

• API Gateway

• S3

• RDS

• CloudWatch

Location Requirement:

Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Winston‑Salem, NC, five days per week. Candidates seeking C2C with H1b transfers, 1099 subcontracting, or relocation WILL NOT be considered.
