Innowhyte is hiring a NET. Lead to define the technical direction of the backend platforms behind our AI agents and enterprise integrations. This is a hands-on architecture role: you set the standards, make the key design decisions, and stay close enough to the code to prove they work in production. You will own the architecture of. NET services on Azure, from domain design and API contracts to infrastructure as code, security, and operability. You will partner with engineering, product, and client stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-aware solutions, and mentor engineers along the way.
Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end architecture for. NET applications and microservices, including domain boundaries, API design, data models, and integration patterns.
- Design cloud-native solutions on Azure using App Service, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, Event Grid/Event Hubs, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, API Management, and Key Vault.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code standards with Terraform, including module design, remote state, environment strategy, and policy-as-code guardrails.
- Design CI/CD and release strategies in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including automated testing, security scanning, and Terraform plan/apply workflows.
- Drive non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, resilience, observability (Application Insights, Azure Monitor), and cost optimization.
- Own security architecture: Entra ID (OAuth2/OIDC), managed identities, RBAC, secrets management, network isolation, and compliance needs.
- Lead design and code reviews, produce architecture decision records (ADRs), and keep technical documentation current and usable.
- Evaluate build-vs-buy and technology choices, and guide modernization of legacy. NET Framework applications to modern. NET.
- Mentor engineers, raise engineering standards, and stay hands-on with prototypes, proofs of concept, and critical code paths.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architect or technical lead role, with a genuine hands-on development background.
- Deep expertise in C#, . NET 6/7/8, ASP. NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and asynchronous and distributed programming.
- Strong experience architecting on Azure, with a track record of designing and operating production systems at scale.
- Proficiency with Terraform and IaC practices; experience with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong grasp of microservices, event-driven architecture, DDD, CQRS, and design patterns, and clear judgment on when not to use them.
- Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL stores, plus data modeling and caching strategies.
- Excellent communication: you can explain trade-offs to engineers, product leaders, and clients, and write clearly.
- Nice to have: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), AZ-400, or Terraform Associate; experience integrating LLM/AI services (Azure OpenAI) into enterprise applications.
Beyond the Tech Stack:
- Pragmatic architect. You favor simple designs that teams can build and run over diagrams that look impressive.
- Hands-on leadership. You write code, review code, and earn trust by shipping alongside the team.
- Ownership and calm under ambiguity. You make sound decisions without perfect information and communicate trade-offs clearly.
- AI is moving fast. New models, tools, and patterns drop every week. You learn fast, evaluate critically, apply what works, and ship without getting paralyzed by the churn.
