Job summary

Qualifications

3+ years of professional .NET development experience.
Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, and REST APIs.
Experience upgrading or modernizing legacy .NET applications.
Understanding of API design, authentication, error handling, and security practices.

Responsibilities

Upgrade existing APIs from legacy .NET versions to the latest supported version.
Review existing code to identify outdated frameworks, libraries, and dependencies.
Resolve compatibility issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities created or uncovered during the upgrade.
Refactor code where necessary while preserving existing functionality.
Test upgraded APIs to confirm performance, reliability, and expected behavior.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the modernization process.
Document technical changes and completed upgrades.
Collaborate with developers and technical leadership in a distributed team environment.
