Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Nesting I or Nesting II to provide production support for sheet metal and wood shop operations in Centerville, IA or Keosauqua, IA. The role focuses on producing optimized nested layouts for laser, turret and CNC router and developing offline programs for forming equipment.

A High School diploma or GED is required, with at least three years in manufacturing. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Solid Edge/SolidWorks, SigmaNest/MetaCAM) and strong Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC equipment preferred.
• Strong computer skills beyond basic level.

Responsibilities

• Produce optimized nested layouts for laser, turret and CNC router for efficient utilization of equipment.
• Produce offline programs for press brakes and panel bender.
• Maintain CAD parts library, ensuring latest revision and optimal tooling paths.
• Work with Sheet Metal and Wood Shop to provide a balanced workload at cutting and forming equipment.
• Perform data collecting and report out metrics to members of the Operations Team.
• Provide Continuous Improvement support for all areas of the business.
• Travel to our Centerville, IA or Keosauqua, IA facility will be required as duties are required.
